Tiger wants to keep this whole altercation in the dark. I don't blame him. I would want the same for me and my family. More and more information keeps coming out second by second and truthfully I haven't paid it enough attention to give a honest account of what exactly is going on with the situation right now. I truthfully don't care and I promise you this will be the last time I speak of this man on this website referring to anything to do with this particular situation.
There are two sides to this. On one hand you have all of the media who are all over the story trying to find new info, mistresses, voicemail's and create drama. You can not get angry with these people because this is their job. This is what they do for a living. They break stories and find the facts. On the other hand there is Tiger himself who just wants to get on with his life. It is hard to stick up for him for a couple of reasons.
First, he has a white wife.
Now I am the farthest from racist of any types. I love white women, I love all women, But the most successful athlete in the world and he has a white wife? Its just not a good look. As far as self esteem issues for black women seeing the majority of successful black men scooping up white women to hold on their arms leaving the black women who already outnumber men 3 to 1 to fight over the rest of the litter who aren't even worth their time. I digress... But one thing Tiger should have known is most black women have come to the conclusion men lie and cheat. That's what they do. As long as the bills are paid, you give them what they want, and you don't make them look like a fool in public they will let you get away with a chick on the side with no love lost.
Second,he's a role model
It's impossible to get away with anything when you are in the spotlight in this day and age. Anything you do will be discovered. "I might have got alil head, but I wasn't really cheating" yeah that works for normal people like Me and Common, but if people are watching you on a daily like someone like lets say... The President you get impeached for that. You have to calculate your moves a little bit more carefully when your the highest paid athlete in the world. I'm not big on public role models. Tell your kids to be like you when they grow up. Don't try to push your job off to Kobe Bryant or Tiger Woods. Those people are human just like you. People like to put such people on a pedastool because they are only viewed in a positive light on TV, but thats not real life. If you can accept all of the positive things they do, you can also forgive them for the mistakes they make also.
Lastly, he has too much to lose
Corporate America loves taking away endorsements, especially from black people. Don't give them a reason. Tiger made an estimated 110 million just in endorsements last year. If they find out his wife "Chris Brown'ed" him because he's a cheater. He loses that squeaky clean reputation and all the many endorsements which follow it very quickly. CHECK THIS OUT

'As long as the bills are paid, you give them what they want, and you don't make them look like a fool in public they will let you get away with a chick on the side with no love lost.'
I take issue with that statement, it’s a total misconception. It’s saying all black women want is money and be able to front in public. That’s a reason why we’re mistreated by so many men today.
I could give a crap about Tiger, he deserves this embarrassment, he did this to himself. However, his wife and kid(s) don’t. That’s why I hope this goes away soon
